1966年，由投资，在湖南洪江市筹建三线企业— —湘西仪器仪表总厂（现为湖南仪器仪表总厂，简称湘 仪）。作为实验室仪器设备研制生产基地，历经三 十多年的发展，现成为由九个专业分厂、一个研究所组 成的大型企业集团。天平、探伤仪器、动力测试、离心 机、微型电机、仪表成套、电子仪器、自动化仪表、汽 车仪表等专业分厂在各自所从事行业均以优良的产品品 质和服务贡献于社会，成功地塑造了“湘仪”品牌。
